Funeral services have been finalized for an 18-year-old Cahokia man killed in a car crash last week.

Harvey Tipler will be remembered during a funeral service at noon Saturday at Disciple Fellowship Christian Church in Washington Park. A visitation will be held at 10 a.m.

Cahokia School District Superintendent Art Ryan said Tipler was a student at the after school credit recovery program run by the St. Clair County Regional Office of Education. He said Tipler was just a couple classes away from graduating.

Tipler died Friday at St. Louis University Hospital, where he was transported following a car crash in Cahokia late Thursday night. His cause of death is still being determined, according the St. Louis Medical Examiner's Office.

Details about the crash were not provided by Cahokia police.
