Too much blamed on Obama

June 27, 2013

People need to realize that mistakes happen.

There has been a lot of outrage against President Obama and his administration for many things including Benghazi. However, the government receives thousands if not tens of thousands of threats every day. The president is not the first person to hear of something when there is a threat or scandal. He might be the fifth person depending on the chain of command. Because of this, all presidents rely on what others are telling them and assume to some degree that they are correct. Sometimes things are overlooked.

Benghazi was overlooked or simply missed. It happens. Sept. 11 happened because of mistakes as well. Things rarely go just as planned and often many unforeseen consequences occur.

Remember one thing: Presidents today get too much credit when things go well, and too much blame when things go sour.
