Firefighters there for us

June 28, 2013

I would like to give a big shout out to the East Side Volunteer Fire Department.

My house burned down on May 13 at 3:30 a.m. My family made it out thanks to our wonderful neighbors. Our beloved dog Paris did not make it out.

The East Side Volunteer Fire Department worked for two hours to put out our fire and then stayed behind to help us retrieve belongings. They did not have to do that. I appreciate so much their efforts and dedication.

They also carried out my dog with such grace and treated her like she was their own pet.

My workplace had a wonderful benefit for us and the Fire Department even showed up for that.

I want the East Side Fire Department volunteers to be recognized for their wonderful work. The American Red Cross was also there to support us with the things that we needed. So Thank you. The Rieso family appreciates them.
