FAMILY SPORTPLEX EVENTS -- The Family Sportsplex in Belleville is offering a series of basketball events this summer. A Skills and Drills Clinic for boys in grades 4-7, girls in grades 4-7 and girls in grades 8-12 began June 19 under the direction of Southwestern Illinois College coach Mike Juenger. A Summer Hoops Tournament for boys and girls teams in grades 3-8 is July 13-14 with July 7 entry deadline. Little Shooters Camp for boys and girls in grades kindergarten-3 runs for six weeks and begins Aug. 2 under the direction of Juenger. A 3-on-3 Tournament is Aug. 10-11 with Aug. 2 entry deadline. THE ORCHARDS JUNIOR GOLF -- The Orchards in Belleville has announced details for its 2013 Junior Golf Program. An instructional clinic for players 5-and-older covers irons, woods, putting and chipping. Fee: $95 per player or $225 for camp and junior set of clubs.
