The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has issued first degree robbery charges in Madison County for Lakeshia Monique Hudson, 26, of Chicago.

Hudson allegedly was driving a vehicle in which two men were riding who robbed an AT&T Cellular Store in St. Louis last week. The vehicle was stopped by Illinois State Police at the intersection of Interstates 55/70 and Illinois 157.

The two men fled on foot but Hudson was arrested while trying to escape and dispose of approximately 70 phones in a nearby wooded area, police said.

Hudson is being held on a $50,000 cash only bond.
