BELLEVILLE POLICE

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 26

8:51 a.m. Disturbance, unlawful use of a weapon -- First block of North 44th Street. A subject was arrested for unlawful use of a weapon and taken into custody.

1:20 p.m. Attempted theft --1100 block of Olive. Thomas Alston, 34, was arrested for attempted theft and criminal damage to property. Alston was taken into custody.

7:10 p.m. Counterfeit -- Conoco, 420 Carlyle Ave. Employees reported receiving a counterfeit $20 bill for a purchase.

7:37 p.m. Burglary to residence -- 300 block of Mascoutah. The victim reported entry was made to the residence and property was stolen.

8:01 p.m. Disorderly conduct --300 block of Kansas. The victim signed a nontraffic citation against the suspect for disorderly conduct.

9:37 p.m. Armed robbery -- 9600 block of West Main Street. The victims reported being robbed by an unknown male armed with a handgun.

11:51 p.m. Retail theft -- CVS, 4609 W. Main St. The suspect was arrested for retail theft and taken into custody.

Thursday, June 27

1:03 a.m. Arson -- 1000 block of Caseyville Avenue, Belleville Fire Department responded to and extinguished a fire at a residence. The Fire Department arson investigator advised the fire appeared to be suspicious and had been started on the porch.

2:32 a.m. Burglary to business -- Circle K, 9618 W. Main St. The alarm company notified dispatch of the burglary stating two subjects made entry to the store after breaking the front glass door. Property was stolen.

12:08 p.m. Criminal damage to property -- First block of Glenview Drive. The victim reported four tires were damaged on his vehicle.

3:54 p.m. Theft -- 400 block of Court Street. The victim reported property was stolen from her residence.

8:12 p.m. Theft -- Walmart, 2601 Green Mount Commons. The victim reported her purse and property were left unattended in a shopping cart. When she returned her property was gone.

8:52 p.m. Battery, juvenile lockout -- 1400 block of Maiden Lane. A juvenile was arrested for battery and taken into custody.

FRIDAY, JUNE 28

1:51 a.m. Traffic stop, pursuit, obstruction of justice, resisting a peace officer --South High at East Adams. After a short pursuit the suspect vehicle stopped and three occupants fled the vehicle with two occupants remaining inside the vehicle. Dustin R. Barnett, 20, was apprehended and arrestsed for resisting a peace officer. Barnett was taken into custody. The two females were released.

12:32 p.m. Motor vehicle theft -- 1700 block of Mascoutah Avenue. The victim reported his 2001 Triumph motorcycle was stolen.

1:29 p.m. Criminal trespass to residence -- 200 block of North 44th Street. The property manager reported the suspect, a previous tenant, was observed in the residence.

2:02 p.m. Theft -- 500 block of North 44th Street. The victim reported property was stolen out of his yard.

4:15 p.m. Theft -- 200 block of Columbus Drive. The victim reported property was stolen from her yard.

4:16 p.m. Theft --First block of Mariknoll. The victim reported property was stolen from his yard.

5:02 p.m. Theft -- 4000 block of South Park Drive. The victim reported property was stolen from her yard.

6:30 p.m. Burglary to vehicle -- The Edge parking lot, 701 South Belt West. The victim reported a window was broken out on her vehicle and property was stolen.

7:56 p.m. Residential burglary -- 500 block of South Jackson. The victim reported forced entry made to her residence and property was stolen.

10:05 p.m. Aggravated battery -- Skyview Drive-In, 5700 North Belt West. The victim reported being struck by a blue truck while she was standing in a parking lot.

SATURDAY, JUNE 29

12:36 a.m. Assist other agency --Centerville Avenue at Illinois 15. Cahokia Police Department had a red 1992 Chevrolet flee from a sobriety checkpoint. Cahokia police and other assisting agency pursued the suspect vehicle into the city limits of Belleville. Belleville Police Department units deployed spike strips and the vehicle was successfully disabled. The suspect vehicle came to a stop in the parking lot of QuikTrip. Two subjects were taken into custody by Cahokia police. There was no damage to any police vehicles.

1:25 a.m. Assault -- First block of West Pheasantwood. Darlene D. Williams, 48, was arrested for assault and taken into custody.

4:22 a.m. Disorderly conduct -- Calure A. Jones, 35, was arrested for disorderly conduct and taken into custody.

9:55 a.m. Traffic stop, driving while revoked -- 200 block of North 28th Street. The driver was arrested for driving while license is revoked and taken into custody.

11:03 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 4000 block of Memorial Drive. The victim reported the passenger side window of her vehicle was broken out and property was stolen.

1:57 p.m. Burglary to vehicle, unlawful use of debit card --St. Elizabeth's parking garage, 211 S. Third St. The victim reported her vehicle was entered and property was stolen. The victim's debit card, which was among the property, was used the same day at QuikTrip, 755 South Belt West.

3:05 p.m. Criminal damage to property -- 800 block of North Second Street. The victim reported the rear window on his vehicle was shattered.

10 p.m. Retail theft over --Shop 'N Save, 4201 North Belt West. The suspect was arrested for retail theft and taken into custody.

10:28 p.m. Traffic stop, disorderly conduct, fugitive arrest -- North Charles and East A Street. Carl J. Yonkers, 70, was arrested for several traffic violations, disorderly conduct, failure to comply and an active St. Clair County warrant. Yonkers was taken into custody.

SUNDAY, JUNE 30

3:21 a.m. Traffic stop, driving under the influence -- Mascoutah at Plum Grove. Kimberlee J. Miller, 48, was arrested for driving under the influence and taken into custody.

8:42 a.m. Fugitive arrest -- First block of South 16th Street. Ruby Hutchcraft, 48, was arrested for an outstanding warrant and taken into custody.

8:49 p.m. Attempted burglary to vehicle --Dollar Tree, 5831 Belleville Crossing. The victim reported observing a male tampering with her vehicle. On checking the vehicle, the victim discovered the driver's side lock was damaged in an attempt to gain entry.

MONDAY, JULY 1

1:08 a.m. Retail theft --Circle K, 10 South Belt West. An employee reported two unknown subjects stole merchandise from the business.

3:35 a.m. Drunkenness -- 9400 block of West Main Street. Byron D. Reynolds, 45, was arrested for drunkenness and taken into custody.

6:45 a.m. Burglary to vehicle --500 block of Wabash. The victim reported the driver's side window on his vehicle was shattered and property was stolen.

8:42 p.m. Criminal damage to property --Center for Autism, 1306 Wabash. The assistant principal reported a window in the building was shattered. A window on their vehicle was also shattered.

12:07 p.m. Traffic accident, possession of cannabis, unlawful use of a weapon -- Foley Drive. The driver/suspect was arrested and taken into custody.

12:24 p.m. Battery --900 block of North Charles Street. The victim reported the suspect allegedly battered him. The victim signed a nontraffic citation against the suspect for battery.

3:02 p.m. Criminal damage to property, pedestrian under the influence -- Video Jet, 707 E. B St. Gregory Faries, 50, was arrested for criminal damage and pedestrian under the influence and taken into custody.

6:19 p.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 400 block of South Pennsylvania. The victim reported his unlocked vehicle was entered and rummaged through.

6:34 p.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 200 block of South Second Street. The victim reported his vehicle had the driver side lock punched to gain entry and property was stolen.

7:17 p.m. Retail theft -- Walmart, 2601 Green Mount Commons. Jamal Dunn, 18, was arrested for retail theft and taken into custody.

9:02 p.m. Traffic stop, possession of cananbis -- West Main at 52nd Street. The occupants, John Kieser, 18 and a juvenile were arrested for possession of cannabis and taken into custody.

TUESDAY, JULY 2

2:32 a.m. Attempted burglary to vehicle -- 500 block of Kansas. A witness reported hearing a car door shut. The victim went to investigate and observed subjects running from the area.
