Belle-Clair Speedway is hosting the Belleville Bash on Friday and Saturday featuring POWRi/USAC and Badger National Midgets and POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micros.
This is the first time USAC has raced at Belleville since 1983 and each day has its own complete show.
Hot laps are at 6 p.m. with racing to follow. General admission tickets are $20, with children 12-under admitted free.
This was originally scheduled as the finale of a three-event week in the St. Louis area that included the famous Hut Hundred on Wednesday at Tri-City Speedway in Pontoon Beach.
However, the Hut Hundred had to be postponed because of rain so that should focus even more attention on the Belle-Clair Speedway event.
Highland Speedway will play host to the Summer Nationals Hell Tour on Saturday featuring $10,000 to win UMP Late Models, $1,000 to win UMP Summit Modifieds and $300 to win UMP Hamel Coop Street Stocks.
The event features some of the top drivers in the Midwest and has the largest payout in the history of Highland Speedway. Grandstands open at 5:30 p.m. with hot laps at 6 p.m., qualifying at 6:30 p.m. and racing at 7 p.m.
Box seats are $30, general grandstand admission is $28 and children 10-under are free with paid adult admission.
In the SportMod makeup feature last week at Highland, Jeremy Thoele was the winner. Rob Lee won the other SportMod feature while Jeremy Zumwalt won the Daum Insurance Outlaw Micros feature.
Austin Isaak won the UMP Hamel Coop Street Stocks feature.
Tri-City Speedway will host the Summit UMP Modified 6-Pack event paying $1,00 to win on Friday. Also running are UMP Pro Late Models, UMP Sportsman, Street Stocks and Sport Compacts along with the Dirt Divas.
