Prices are no coincidence

July 5, 2013

When you get your new bill for trash services and you ask your neighbor what he is paying for the same service. Pickup is a different day and the bill is basically the same price including fuel tax and other nondescript taxes.

There has to be a mutual agreement between the companies as to what they charge.

To me the fuel charges should be the price of doing business as a trash service company. I guess they believe that people have no choice but to include paying their stockholders and, oh yeah, maybe a golf tournament.

Maybe the U.S. attorneys across the United States should open an investigation into these companies for collusion or price fixing.
