Warmer temperatures and a chance of rain early this week

Typical summertime temperatures are back this week -- and so is the chance of thunderstorms.

A high temperature of 92 degrees is expected Monday with 20 percent chance of thunderstorms after 4 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

There is a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms Tuesday before 1 p.m. with a high temperature of 93 and a heat index of 100. A 30 percent chance of thunderstorms is in the forecast during the evening hours Tuesday.

On Wednesday, the high will reach 91 with a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms throughout the day.
