About 1,000 teenagers from across the country spent three hours Thursday in Belleville cleaning up and sprucing up community parks, neighborhoods and schools as part of a Big Day of Serving. Youths from the Christian Missionary Alliance Church traveled from St. Louis to Belleville on 27 different buses. The teens are taking part in the LIFE 2013 youth conference to be held from Tuesday through Saturday in St. Louis. About 5,000 teens from across the nation are attending the conference which is held in a different city every three years.
