Belleville Police investigate liquor store robbery

Belleville Police on Friday investigated a robbery at the Arena Liquor store.

Capt. Don Sax said two men robbed the business. He said no one was injured in the crime.

Detailed descriptions of the suspects were not available.

Police said the robbery occurred about 11 a.m. Friday Police had initially said the robbery happened shortly after noon.

The store is at 105 South Belt East, across from the Belle-Clair Fairgrounds and next to a McDonald's restaurant.
