The danger of amnesty

July 13, 2013

The Democrats and the major news media would have you believe that everyone who is in this country illegally comes from Mexico and is here to make a better life for themselves. Not by a long shot.

By the White House's own estimates, as many as 4 million people are here illegally who do not come from south of our border. They come from Somalia, Croatia, Syria, Afghanistan, Iran, Libya, Russia and who knows where else. And out of those estimated 4 million, there could quite possibly be thousands, if not tens of thousands, of al-Qaida or Taliban members sitting here, quietly waiting for our government to grant them amnesty.

You think the 9/11 and the Boston Marathon bombings were tragic? If amnesty, or even a speedy pathway to citizenship, actually happens for those here illegally, then I suggest you brace yourselves. I hope I'm wrong, but that saying might come true: You ain't seen nothing yet.
