Quinn to talk about jobs at new bridge site in East St. Louis

Gov. Pat Quinn will be in East St. Louis on Monday to announce the final phase of construction of the new Mississippi River bridge connecting Missouri and Illinois.

The project has created or supported 3,400 jobs with a record-breaking diverse work force, according to Quinn's office. A spokesman for Quinn said the governor will discuss his agenda to create jobs and strengthen Illinois' infrastructure.

Quinn will be on the Illinois side of the construction site of the bridge.
