BELLEVILLE POLICE

WEDNESDAY, JULY 10

8:09 a.m. Burglary to vehicle --1000 block of West E Street. The victim reported her vehicle was entered and property was stolen.

1:27 p.m. Theft -- Medical Arts Building, 180 S. 3rd St. The victim reported forgetting her purse in a restroom. When she went back to retrieve it, it was gone.

1:38 p.m. Retail theft -- Circle K, 2709 W. Main St. The store manager reported that after reviewing store video she observed four men enter the store two nights ago and steal merchandise.

3:46 p.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 1000 block of N. 5th St. The victim reported her unlocked vehicle was entered and property was stolen.

4:34 p.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 1400 block of Wabash. The victim reported his unlocked vehicles were entered and property was stolen.

6:08 p.m. Aggravated domestic battery -- 700 block of South High Street. The suspect was arrested for aggravated domestic battery and taken into custody.

10:02 p.m. Assault, resisting a peace officer -- Mascoutah Avenue at East Garfield. Cody Seats, 27, Larry Houghlan, 25, and David Pearson, 25, were arrested for assault and taken into custody. Houghlan was also charged with resisting a peace officer.

10:42 p.m. Battery -- First block of North 44th Street. The victim reported being battered by the suspect. The victim signed a non traffic citation for battery against the suspect.

THURSDAY, JULY 11

2:45 a.m. Recovery of stolen vehicle -- First block of Talisman. A 2013 Chevrolet Cruze was located disabled by OnStar, after it had been reported stolen out of East St. Louis. Officers located a suspect who was turned over to East St. Louis Police Department.

7:05 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 600 block of South Pennsylvania. The victim reported her vehicle was entered and property was stolen.

1:20 p.m. Possession of a controlled substance -- North Church at East D Street. A pedestrian/suspect was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and taken into custody.

1:25 p.m. Burglary to vehicle --West Pheasantwood Drive. The victim reported his vehicle was entered and a handgun was stolen.

2:03 p.m. Burglary -- 100 block of South 18th Street. The victim reported his garage was entered and property was stolen.

2:31 p.m. Retail theft -- Walmart, 2601 Green Mount Commons. Angela Vance, 57, was arrested for retail theft and taken into custody.

2:30 p.m. Forgery -- Scott Credit Union, 648 Carlyle Ave. The victim reported the suspect attempted to cash a check that was stolen from their vehicle.

5:21 p.m. Criminal trespass, riding bicycle in skate park --Skate Park, 709 N. 2nd St. A juvenile was arrested for trespassing and riding his bicycle in the skate park. He was taken into custody.

6:55 p.m. Traffic stop, possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia -- N. 17th at West Main St. Timothy Janes, 25, was arrested for traffic citations, possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia, he was taken into custody.

7:26 p.m. Disorderly conduct, possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia --Hough Park, 417 N. 3rd St. A juvenile was arrested for disorderly conduct, possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia, he was taken into custody.

11:40 p.m. Retail theft -- Shop N Save, 4201 N. Belt West. Thomas J. Alston, 33, was arrested for retail theft and taken into custody.

FRIDAY, JULY 12

1:33 a.m. Theft -- Silver Creek Saloon, 2520 Mascoutah Ave. The victim reported leaving property unattended at the entrance to a party room. When he went to retrieve the property, it was gone.

5:41 a.m. Criminal damage to property, theft of temporary registration -- 300 block of West I Street. The victim reported his vehicle was damaged and the rear temporary tag was stolen.

5:59 a.m. Burglary to vehicle --900 block of N. 38th St. The victim reported her vehicle was entered and property was stolen.

8:56 a.m. Traffic stop, fugitive arrest -- 3400 block of West Main Street. Roy Montgomery, 31, was arrested and taken into custody.

11:08 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- First block Sunnyside Drive. The victim reported her two vehicles were entered and property was stolen.

1:21 p.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 4500 block of Ammel. The victim reported his vehicle was entered and was rummaged through.

2:52 p.m. Retail theft -- Walmart, 2601 Green Mount Commons. A suspect was arrested for retail theft and taken into custody.

7:07 p.m. Attempted theft of license plate -- 4100 block of Memorial Drive. The victim reported the license plate on her vehicle had pry marks and was bent, possibly in an attempt to steal the license plate.

7:48 p.m. Criminal damage to property -- My Little School, 423 S. Illinois St. The business owner reported a window had been shot out with a pellet gun.

9:35 p.m. Aggravated battery -- East A St. at Lucinda. The victim, a volunteer for the Tour de Belleville, was bumped by a vehicle while she was stopping traffic at the intersection.

Saturday, July 13

1 a.m. Drunkenness -- First block of East Main Street. Stephen C. Carrigan, 31, was arrested for drunkenness and taken into custody.

11:17 a.m. Cruelty to animals -- Target, 5721 Belleville Crossing. Marsha S. Lewis, 64, was issued a citation for cruelty to animals.

11:25 a.m. Burglary to residence -- First block of Hillwood Drive. The victim reported entry was gained to her residence and property was stolen.

4:16 p.m. Retail theft -- Kmart, 7230 Westfield Plaza. Donavon L. Jones, 18, Lacordeon L. Newsome, 19, and Denzel M. Scales, 20, were arrested for retail theft and taken into custody.

5:12 p.m. Counterfeit bill -- McDonalds, 4422 W. Main St. Employees received a counterfeit $29 bill for a purchase.

6:16 p.m. Domestic disturbance, violation of occupancy -- 200 block of South Douglas Street. Everett E. Sakosko, 37 and Lori S. Friess, 41, were issued citations for violation of occupancy.

8:12 p.m. Theft -- Dollar General, 1 Bellevue Park Plaza. Devaughn J. Montgmery, 22, was arrested for theft and taken into custody.

8:25 p.m. Battery --300 block of West C Street. Michael C. Mosely, 42, was arrested for battery and taken into custody.

10:39 p.m. Home invasion --First block of Glen Grove. The victims reported hearing a loud noise, after which a subject entered the room with a black object in each hand. The male victim engaged the subject in a physical altercation. The female victim locked herself in a bedroom and called 911.

11:06 p.m. Violation of stalking, no contact order -- 100 block of North Delaware. The victim reported the suspect attempted to make contact with her through a third party. The victim signed a non traffic citation against the suspect for the violation.

sunday, july 14

7:49 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 2300 block of Four Lakes Drive. The victim's unlocked vehicle was entered.

9:22 a.m. Unlawful visitation interference -- 500 block of Sunrise Drive. Kevin R. Clark, 51, was arrested for unlawful visitation interference.

10:21 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 2900 block of 14th Fairway Drive. The victim's unlocked vehicle was entered and property was stolen.

11:56 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 2200 block of Arnold Palmer Drive. The victim reported his vehicle had been entered and rummaged through.

12:03 p.m. Criminal damage to property -- 3200 block of Seven Pines. The victim reported two windows were damaged by a pellet gun.

2:54 p.m. Armed robbery --700 block of Scheel. The victim reported four men attacked him. One of the males, an acquaintance, hit him with a brick before they took his property and left the area.

3:09 p.m. Theft over $500 --300 block of North 38th Street. The victim reported property and U.S. currency was stolen from her residence by the suspect.

5:06 p.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 2100 block of Scheel Street. The victim reported her vehicle was entered and the dashboard was damaged.

6:11 p.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 2600 block of Pro Tour Drive. The victim reported her unlocked vehicle was entered and rummaged through.

6:33 p.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 1300 block of Orchard Lake Circle. The victim reported her unlocked vehicle was entered and property was stolen.

10:56 p.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 9000 block of Lebanon Road. The victim gained entry to her residence. The victim stated the residence had been ransacked and property was stolen.

MONDAY, JULY 15

7:30 a.m. Burglary to vehicle --1600 block of Golf Course Drive. The victim reported his vehicles were entered and property was stolen.

8:47 a.m. Vehicle theft -- Camper Exchange, 1401 S. Illinois St. Employees reported a trailer was stolen off the business' lot.

9:38 a.m. Overdose, possession of a controlled substance -- 400 block of North Douglas. The suspect was transported to an area hospital. On release the suspect was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and taken into custody.

3:34 p.m. Attempted residential burglary -- First block of South 29th Street. The victim reported a storm door was damaged in an attempt to gain entry to the residence.

5:14 p.m. Disorderly conduct -- Circle K, 1001 E. Main St. The victim signed a non traffic citation against the suspect for disorderly conduct.

6:29 p.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 2300 block of Four Lakes Drive. The victim's unlocked vehicle was entered and property was stolen.

6:36 p.m. Disorderly conduct -- 100 block of Blue Ridge Drive. The victim signed a non traffic citation against the suspect for disorderly conduct.

8:11 p.m. Harassment through electronic communication -- 1700 block of Stevens Street. The victim reported receiving threatening emails from the suspect.

9:31 p.m. Traffic stop, possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia -- 400 block of South Belt East. Nicholas Geolat, 18, was arrested for possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia and was taken into custody.

FRIDAY, JULY 12

Charmonequette J. Reynolds, 21, of 3229 Eastridge Drive in Shiloh, was charged with armed robbery with a firearm, a class X felony.

Roderick L. Taylor Jr., 22, of 1208 St. Michael in Cahokia was charged with armed robbery with a firearm, a class X felony.

Kendrez J. Murphy, 19, of 419 N. 4th St. in Belleville, was charged with forgery.

James Bagley, 19, of 629 N. 25th St., was charged with two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault, a class X felony.

Melvin W. Fraction, 25, of 3338 Ohio in St. Louis, Mo. was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, two counts of aggravated fleeing that caused bodily injury and aggravated fleeing that caused more than $300 in damage to property.

Keithen D. Chairs, 17, of 113 Behrens Ave. in O'Fallon, was charged with attempted burglary.

Phillip J. Santel, 44, of 416 East Poos Drive B in New Baden, was charged with aggravated driving under the influence and driving on a revoked license.

Adam J. Weber, 37, of 2115 Sugarloaf in Dupo, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and driving under the influence of alcohol.

Shaneice D. Stallings, 24, of 1405 14th St. of St. Louis, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and retail theft.

MONDAY, JULY 15

Meagan L. Egler, 28, of Caseyville, warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

James F. Wilkerson, 55, of Belleville, arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and traffic violation by St. Clair County sheriff.

Alan B. Mosely Jr., 34, of Belleville, warrant arrest by Caseyville police.

Sharmice C. Beaty, 24, of Ballwin, Mo., warrant arrest by Belleville police.

James D. Bagley, 19, of East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of predatory criminal sexual assault by East St. Louis police.
