Belleville blotter: Burglars hit Ben's Crafts downtown

— The following report appeared in the most recently released crime blotter by the Belleville Police Department:

TUESDAY

4:56 p.m. BURGLARY TO CONSTRUCTION SITE - Ben Franklin's, 112-116 E Main St. The victim reported a rear door to the site was forced open and property was stolen.

6:12 p.m. BURGLARY TO RESIDENCE - 200 block of S. 19th Street. Witnesses observed several juveniles enter the residence and spray painting the walls. One juvenile, a 13-year-old female, was taken into custody.

THURSDAY

7:29 a.m. BURGLARY TO BUSINESS - Ben's Crafts, 112 E. Main St. The business owner reported the rear glass door was damaged to gain entry to the business.
