Use gas from United States

July 23, 2013

I don't understand why Congress and the president don't drill here in the states instead of always buying it from overseas. If they allowed more drilling here, maybe gas prices wouldn't be so high because all could be done right here.

Instead they are paying a lot for it to be shipped from overseas and not only getting it shipped, but doing what needs to be done with it for it to go to gas stations across the United States.

We could be drilling in the Gulf, or the president could be opening up the Keystone Pipeline. That would not only help get gas for vehicles, but would create many jobs. Instead he is arranging for the stuff to come from Egypt, Asia or anywhere overseas. But he doesn't seem to care about what we are having to pay at the pump right now.
