Feed the birds in Belleville, please

July 26, 2013

I have lived on West A Street near Lindenwood University for the past 13 years and been feeding generations of cardinals, blue jays, etc., with leftovers from my beloved parrots who are like my children.

I am court-ordered out of Belleville because of them and I am leaving in the lurch my beloved wild birds who count on the high-quality feed I donate to them. Please, folks in the area, feed this vast number of birds anything you can: bread, cereal, snacks and preferably sunflower seeds to keep these poor creatures from 20-21st W. A St., from starving as their main provider (me) is gone.

Good luck to the people of Belleville.
