Raymond and Marion “Patti” Massie of O’Fallon celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 27, 2013. Raymond P. Massie Jr. and the former Marion “Patti” Ousley were married July 27, 1963 in Goodman, Mississippi.

The Massies have dedicated their lives to the military in the United States Air Force with travels overseas from Taiwan to Italy and in the states from Arizona to Florida. Raymond retired as Colonel in the Air Force at Scott Air Force Base after nearly 25 years of service before continuing military service with teaching careers at Parks College in Cahokia and Gateway Tech (JROTC) in St. Louis.

The Massies spend their retirement as active members of First Baptist Church of O’Fallon and with their three children and two grandchildren: Raymond P. Massie III and wife Janette of New Baden, Kim Massie of Fairview Heights, and Steve Massie, wife Dana, and sons Peyton and Tanner of Troy.
