Ronald B. and Nancy Sue Hardwig of Bloomington, IL originally from Carbondale, IL will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. Ronald B. Hardwig from Belleville, IL and Nancy Sue Grisham from Marion, IL were married Aug. 3, 1963, at the First Presbyterian Church, East St. Louis, IL. Their attendants were Judy Chadwick and Robert Evans.

They are the parents of four children: Michael Bryan Hardwig (Bloomington, IL), Cammy Kay (Ray) Thompson (Columbia, SC), Christine Ann (Mark) Jarrett (Washington, IL), and Michelle Lee Lashbrook (deceased). They are the grandparents of 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.

Ronald retired from the Illinois Department of Transportation in Carbondale, IL and Sue retired from McLean County Unit District Schools in Normal, IL. Ron and Sue were business partners with IBM as R & S Data, Inc. and presently run R & S Designs, Inc., an international needle arts manufacturer.
