Homeowners, businesses or organizations that suffered storm damage due to the storms that moved through the region in May and June may be eligible for disaster loans.

Madison, St. Clair and Monroe counties are included in a disaster declaration issued by the Small Business Administration, according to information from U.S. Rep. Bill Enyart, D-Belleville.

The disaster declaration was issued in response to the storms that moved through the region between May 29 and June 10. Homeowners, businesses or organizations that were adversely affected by the storms can apply for disaster loans through the SBA. More information is available at SBA.gov.
