Belleville blotter: Parents cited by police after 3 teens beat up 14 year old

— The following report appeared in the most recently released crime blotter by the Belleville Police Department:

TUESDAY

11:02 a.m. TRAFFIC STOP-DISORDERLY CONDUCT/RESISTING A PEACE OFFICER - 600 block of E. McKinley. The driver, Briana J. Harold, 22, was arrested for suspended driver's license and resisting a peace officer. Brandon D. Matthews, 24, was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting a peace officer. Both subjects were taken into custody.

4:59 p.m. JUVENILE BATTERY ARREST - Brookhill Estates walking trail. Three juveniles, males aged 14, 15 and 16, were arrested for battery to the victim, a 14-year-old boy, and taken into custody. Parents of the suspects were issued nontraffic citations for Improper Supervision of Children.
