Police: Vandals shoot out O'Fallon car windows

News-DemocratAugust 23, 2013

O'Fallon police are looking for the person or people responsible for a vandalism spree.

According to police reports, owners of vehicles in the northern and eastern parts of town report that their windows were shot out with a pellet or BB gun in the last two weeks.

The incidents have happened in the Deer Creek, Fairwood Hills, Smiley and Timber Creek neighborhoods. Police did not give a specific number of incidents, saying only that the instances were "numerous."

Police believe the vandalism is the work of one or more teenage males. But they said they don't have a description of the suspects or their vehicle.

Police are offering a $500 reward to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the vandals.

Contact the O'Fallon Police Department at 624-4545 with information.
