That's the attitude, workers

August 23, 2013

I want to give a big thank you to all the hard-working, sweet people at the Phoenix Recycling Center on South Ruby Lane in Fairview Heights. There you will find diligent, hard-working people doing their jobs, and with a smile, a hello and a "how are you today"? They are very special people and should be greatly appreciated.

They don't work in an air-conditioned environment, but yet they maintain a good work attitude. I have never been there that I was not greeted by a smile and polite salutation.

Minimum wage? I don't know what they make, but a lot of griping people in other businesses need to take a lesson from being thankful to have a job. The lovely workers at the recycle center could teach them a whole lot.
