The following incidents were listed among the official reports of local law enforcement agencies and court clerks. Readers are reminded that an arrest or charge does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

BELLEVILLE POLICE

FRIDAY, AUG. 23

5:40 a.m. Motor vehicle theft -- First block of Northcape Court. The victim reported his 1999 Chevy Monte Carlo had been stolen. The victim stated his keys were in the vehicle at the time of the theft.

11:45 a.m. Theft -- 1200 block of North 17th Street. The victim reported property was stolen from his trailer.

1:35 p.m. Theft -- 2000 block of Lake Avenue. The victim reported his ex-boyfriend/suspect allegedly stole his property.

2:10 p.m. Retail theft -- K-Mart, 7230 Westfield Plaza. Alexis Winston, 19, was arrested for retail theft and taken into custody.

3:53 p.m. Retail theft -- Wal-mart, 2601 Green Mount Commons. Ashley Hudson, 22, was arrested for retail theft and taken into custody.

8:16 p.m. Burglary to residence -- 800 block of North 39th Street. The victim reported her residence was entered through a window and property was stolen.

9:24 p.m. Battery -- McDonald's, 906 Carlyle Ave. The victim reported being battered by the suspect.

10:55 p.m. Domestic battery -- Hardees, 2 South Belt East. The suspect was arrested for domestic battery and taken into custody.

11:03 p.m. Residential battery -- 2400 block of East Main Street. The victim reported when she returned to her residence she discovered a window had been broken and the rear door was standing open.

SATURAY, AUG. 24

8:01 a.m. Theft -- First block of Berrywood. An employee reported roofing material was stolen from the driveway.

8:40 a.m. Residential burglary -- First block of Grand Avenue. The victim reported his residence was entered and property was stolen.

9:16 a.m. Violation of an order of protection -- First block of Blackburn Drive. The victim reported the suspect violated an order of protection by calling her on the phone.

11:35 a.m. Attempted residential burglary -- 1200 block of Olive. The victim reported forced entry was made to his enclosed porch and an attempt was made to steal his property.

11:37 a.m. Residential burglary -- First block of Friendly Drive. The victim reported her residence was entered by an acquaintance and property was stolen.

7 p.m. Unlawful use of credit card -- 300 block of Gettysburg. The victim reported she had lost her wallet on Aug. 22. One of her credit cards was used.

8:25 p.m. Burglary to vehicle, unlawful use of credit card -- Bel-Air Bowl, 5 South Belt West. The victim reported forced entry to his vehicle and property was stolen. The victim's stolen credit card was later used.

10:48 p.m. Public drunkenness, consumption of alcohol in public -- Moto Mart, 701 W. Main St. Shawn Tiemann, 26, was arrested for drunkenness and consumption of alcohol in public places. He was taken into custody.

SUNDAY, AUG. 25

2:09 a.m. Disturbance, shots fired call -- First block of West Pheasantwood. The caller reported hearing shots and a verbal disturbance. Responding officers located one unarmed subject in the area. Three 9mm casings were collected by crime scene investigators.

4:27 a.m. Burglary to residence -- First block of West Pheasantwood. The victim reported forced entry at her back door and property was stolen.

9:36 a.m. Residential burglary -- 1100 block of Bristow. A suspect was arrested for residential burglary and taken into custody.

10:31 a.m. Theft of a firearm -- Belle-Clair Fairgrounds, 200 South Belt East. The victim reported sometime overnight a handgun was stolen from his stand for the gun and knife show.

12:31 p.m. Attempted armed robbery -- 1000 block of Forest Avenue. The victim reported a subject, armed with a handgun, approached her in her backyard and demanded money. The victim stated she didn't have any money. The suspect described as a black male, 20s, fled on foot.

2:42 p.m. Theft -- First block of Oak Knoll. The victim reported property and U.S. currency missing from the residence after a commercial business moved some furniture on Aug. 24.

4:13 p.m. Theft of a firearm -- Belle-Clair Fairgrounds, 200 South Belt East. The victim reported a handgun was stolen from her stand during the gun and knife show.

4:30 p.m. Criminal damage to property -- 2400 block of East Main Street. The victim reported hearing a loud noise outside. She then discovered her nightlight/floodlight had been shattered.

6:10 p.m. Theft -- Silver Creek Saloon, 2520 Mascoutah. The victim reported property was stolen from her purse.

7:17 p.m. Traffic stop, pursuit, recovery of stolen vehicle -- East B Street at West Boulevard. The driver/suspect was arrested and taken into custody after a short vehicle pursuit and foot chase. The motorcycle was reported stolen out of Missouri.

9:56 p.m. Burglary to residence -- First block of Kingery Court. The victims reported their residence was entered and property was stolen.

9:18 p.m. Attempted burglary to residence -- 5700 block of North Belt West. A witness observed two female juveniles enter the residence. The juveniles were gone on arrival.

ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES

FRIDAY, AUG. 23

Mark L. Taylor, 20,of 809 N. 41st St., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of armed robbery on or about Aug. 13 by Cahokia police. Taylor allegedly, while armed with a dangerous weapon, a fake gun, Co2 pistol or similar blunt object, knowingly took property from the person of Martha Barfield, being U.S. currency, by threatening the imminent use of force.

Thomas D. Flakes, 18, of 318 Lebanon Ave., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of criminal damage to government-supported property on or about Aug. 16 by Belleville police. Flakes allegedly damaged, without the consent of the city of Belleville, a phone located at the Belleville Police Department, which property is supported in part with city funds, said damage not in excess of $500.

Alan M. Chartrand, 31, of 214 S. Eighth St., East Carondelet, arrested on suspicion of robbery, theft, two counts of domestic battery, subsequent offense on or about Aug. 12 by East Carondelet police. Chartrand allegedly took property, being a purse, from Christain L. Stephenson, by use of force; knowingly obtained unauthorized control over property from Christain Stephenson, a purse, total value not in excess of $500; and knowingly made physical contact with Christain Stephenson, a family/household member, in that the defendant grabbed her by the hair and pulled and punched her in the head with his fists. Defendant had been previously convicted of aggravated battery Feb. 17, 2005.

Andre R. Mathis, 33, of 601 E. Fifth St., Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery and domestic battery on or about Aug. 23 by Cahokia police. Mathis allegedly made physical contact with Damon Pipkens, in that said defendant punched Pipkens in the jaw with his fist, knowing Pipkens to be a peace officer engaged in the performance of his authorized duties; and knowingly made physical contact with Lotosha S. Howell, a family/household member, in that said defendant grabbed and shoved her.

Dameian J. Daniels, 34, of 107 Superior Drive, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance on or about Aug. 21 by St. Clair County sheriff. Daniels allegedly had in his possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing cocaine.

Norman D. McMillan, 50, of 910 Illinois Ave., East Carondelet, arrested on suspicion of aggravated participation of methamphetamine manufacturing, unlawful possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of firearm ammunition by a felon on or about Aug. 22 by St. Clair County sheriff. McMillan allegedly, while committing the offense of participation in methamphetamine manufacturing, knowingly produced less than 15 grams of a substance containing methamphetamine; had in his possession less than 5 grams of a substance containing methamphetamine; a person who has been convicted of a felony, knowingly possessed a residence firearm ammunition being shotgun shells. Defendant knowingly did so in a vehicle where a child under the age of 18 is endangered. Defendant had been previously convicted of aggravated gleeing or attempting to elude a police officer.

Roxanne M. Cole, 31, of 236 Lime St., Dupo, arrested on suspicion off unlawful possession of methamphetamine on or about Aug. 22 by St. Clair County sheriff. Cole allegedly had in her possession less than 5 grams of a substance containing methamphetamine.

Joseph J. Lashlee, 40, of 1071 Bradford Road, Cuba, Mo., arrested on suspicion of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon on or about Aug. 23 by Caseyville police. Lashlee allegedly carried in a vehicle a 9mm handgun at a time when he was not on his own land, or in his own abode, or fixed place of business. Said defendant was engaged in a misdemeanor violation of the cannabis control act.

Stephen R. Hickman, 24, of 3311 Marshal, St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon on or about Aug. 23 by Caseyville police. Hickman allegedly carried in a vehicle a 9mm handgun at a time when he was not on his own land, or in his own above, or fixed place of business. Said defendant was engaged in a misdemeanor violation of the cannbis control act.

Kenneth Barnes, 18, of East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a weapon by East St. Louis police.

Elton J. Isom, 37, of East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of canceled or suspended or revoked license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, suspended or revoked driver's license by St. Clair County sheriff.

Demarcus S. Garner, 20, of East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of armed robbery by Belleville police.

Trina E. Miller, 54, of St. Louis, warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

Bernadette Davis, 52, of Lebanon, arrested on suspicion of retail theft, parole violation and warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

Pablo Ventura-Isidro, 29, of Breckenridge, Mo., arrested on suspicion of illegal entry, alien and warrant arrest by Fairmont City.

Aaron M. Edwards, 26, of St. Louis, warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

Steven L. Stratton, 31, of Granite City, arrested on suspicion of resisting, obstructing or disarming a police officer by Brooklyn police.

Stephen R. Hickman, 24, of St. Louis, 24, of St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon by Caseyville police.
