— A neighborhood meeting will be held Tuesday to update residents on the McClintock Avenue road improvement project.

The McClintock Avenue Neighborhood Watch Association and the Highland Neighborhood Association will meet at 6:30 p.m.

Attendees can use the McClintock Avenue or downstairs entrances to enter Zion Lutheran Church, 1810 McClintock Ave.

Belleville City Engineer Tim Gregowicz, project engineer Todd Reyling, of Kaskaskia Engineering Group, and other city officials will be at the meeting.

Part of the road will be widened and resurfaced with asphalt, and there will be new curbs, sidewalks, poles and signs. Gregowicz has said work is expected to start in September.
