Police ask for help locating murder suspect

Law enforcement officers are asking for the public's help in tracking down a man wanted for shooting to death a man in East St. Louis.

Shaun C. Henderson, 17, of Washington Park, was charged Aug. 21 by the St. Clair County State's Attorney's Office with first-degree murder. But police have not yet been able to arrest him.

Henderson was last known to be in the East St. Louis area.

Henderson is accused of chasing down on foot and repeatedly shooting Jordan Anderson on Jan. 12 in the 1400 block of North 44th Street in East St. Louis.

Henderson is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact their local law enforcement agency or CrimeStoppers at 866-371-8477.
