O'Fallon police identify three suspects in BB gun vandalism

News-DemocratAugust 29, 2013

O'Fallon Police have identified three males believed to be responsible for using a BB gun to shatter vehicle windows.

The three suspects, ages 16, 18, and 20, have not been publicly named and charges are pending against them in several criminal damage to property cases in the city.

O'Fallon police credit tips from the public in helping with the identification of the vandals.

The investigation stems from numerous reports of criminal damage to vehicles parked in neighborhoods on the north and east side of city, particularly in the Fairwood Hills, Deer Creek, Smiley and Timber Creek areas. Car owners reported the windows of their vehicles had been shattered with a BB or a pellet gun.
