Lindenwood's Harris earns second Player of the Week honor

— Lindenwood University sophomore running back Kameron Harris was named Association of Independent (A.I.I.) Football Player of the Week following his performance at Central Methodist on Thursday.

The Althoff High graduate helped guide the Lynx to a dominating 42-16 victory over Central Methodist as he rushed for 232 yards and two touchdowns. Harris scored on two runs of eight yards and also had one catch for two yards in the win.

This is the second-consecutive weekly honor for Harris, who wasnamed USCAA Player of the Week last week. This marks the first A.I.I. award for Lynx Athletics since joining the league last year.

Lindenwood returns to action at 1 p.m. Saturday with a home game against St. Francis.
