BELLEVILLE POLICE

TUESDAY, SEPT. 10

6:31 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- First block of Lillian. The victim reported his vehicle was entered and property was stolen.

6:50 a.m. Criminal damage to property -- 1400 block of North 17th Street. The victim reported a windshield on her vehicle had been shattered.

12:34 p.m. Burglary to vehicle --100 block of East D Street. The victim reported his vehicle was entered and property was stolen.

1:23 p.m. Deceptive practice -- Regions Bank, 210 E. Washington St. The victim reported he had check stolen out of his business in Lebanon, IL. Two of the checks have been cashed in Belleville.

4:45 p.m. Burglary -- 600 block of Rodenmeyer. The victim reported entry to the residence was gained through an unlocked window and property was stolen.

5:39 p.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 1700 block of Adair Drive. The victim reported her unlocked vehicle was entered and property was stolen.

5:47 p.m. Medical assist -- 500 block of South 19th Street. Officer Dowdy responded to a report of a female not conscious, not breathing in a residence filled with smoke. Officer Dowdy began chest compressions until the Fire Department then MedStar arrived and they continued to render aid. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

7:-05 p.m. Retail theft -- Target, 5601 Belleville Crossing. Employees reported an unknown subject stole merchandise from the store.

8:22 p.m. Traffic stop, felony driving while revoked -- 2700 block of West Main Street. The suspect was arrested for driving while revoked and taken into custody.

8:40 p.m. Aggravated assault, aggravated battery, mob action -- 300 block of North 2nd Street. Three subjects were arrested for aggravated assault, aggravated battery and mob action. All three subjects were taken into custody.

WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 11

10:25 a.m. Burglary to vehicle --St. Elizabeth's Hospital, 211 S. 2rd St. The victim reported his unlocked van was entered and property was stolen.

3 p.m. Retail theft --Kmart, 7230 Westfield Plaza. Benita Randle, 30, was arrested for retail theft and taken into custody.

4:36 p.m. Retail theft -- Kmart, 7230 Westfield Plaza. Latonya Davis, 21, was arrested for retail theft and taken into custody.

4:42 p.m. Traffic stop, arrest -- Lucinda. Mark Minemann, 36, was arrested for battery that occurred on Sept. 9 at 6:44 p.m. He was taken into custody.

8:06 p.m. Attempted robbery, battery --West Main at Ninth Street. The victim alleged that he was battered by one female and two males. One of the suspects attempted to take his raincoat.

11:36 p.m. Criminal damage to property, burglary to vehicle, aggravated domestic battery -- Conoco, 420 Carlyle and 800 block of Tanglewood. The victim alleged his vehicle was damaged and burglarized by his ex-girlfriend/suspect an acquaintance/suspect and an unknown female. Suspects followed the victim to his residence and struck him with a bat.

ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES

TUESDAY, SEPT. 10

Raymond E. Hogans, 18, of 235 Judith, Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon on or about Sept. 7 by Belleville police. Hogans allegedly, carried on his person a handgun at a time when he was not on his own land, or in his own abode, or fixed place of business, uncased, loaded and accessible. Defendant had not been issued a current valid FOID Card.

Christopher E. Leroy, 33, of 7113 Delmonte St., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon on or about Aug. 28 by East St. Louis police. Leroy allegedly, in committing a battery, knowingly caused bodily harm to Michael Lewis, in that said defendant struck him about the head and body; knowingly carried on his person a rifle at a time when he was not on his own land, or in his own abode, or fixed place of business. Defendant had not been issued a current valid FOID Card.

James D. Weis Jr., 31, of 4840 Club Congress, Waterloo, arrested on suspicion of aggravated driving while under the influence on or about June 5 by St. Clair County sheriff. Weiss allegedly, drove a 1997 Oldsmobile Aurora on Floraville Road in Millstadt, while the defendant was under the influence of alcohol and the defendant, at the time of the commission of violation was involved in a motor vehicle accident that resulted in the great bodily harm of Dustin Blackwell and said violation was a proximate cause of the injuries to Blackwell.

Cody A. Seats, 27, of 802 Union Ave., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a place of religious worship and two counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance on or about Aug. 29 and Sept. 6 by St. Clair County sheriff. Seats allegedly, while within 1,000 feet of a place of religious worship, being the New Testament Christian Church, located at 7401 W. Main St., Belleville, knowingly delivered to a Confidential Source, less than one gram of a substance containing heroin; knowingly and unlawfully delivered to a confidential source less than one gram of a substance containing heroin on Aug. 29; knowingly and unlawfully delivered to a confidential source one gram of a substance containing heroin on Sept. 6.

Torcus L. Boone Jr., 21, of 1828 Tudor Ave., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon on or about June 18 by East St. Louis police. Boone allegedly, carried on his person a .40 caliber pistol at a time when he was not on his own land, or in his own abode, or fixed place of business, uncased, loaded and accessible. Defendant had not been issued a current valid FOID Card.

Delano M. Tillman, 23, of 1473 Gaty Ave., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon on or about Aug. 23 by East St. Louis police. Tillman allegedly, carried on his person a .38 caliber handgun at a time when he was not on his own land, or in his own abode, or fixed place of business, uncased, loaded and accessible. Defendant had not been issued a current valid FOID Card.

James D. Weis Jr., 31, of 4840 Club Congress, Waterloo, arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine on or about Sept. 9 by St. Clair County sheriff. Weis allegedly, possessed less than 5 grams of a substance containing methamphetamine.

WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 11

Kobie D. Sharp, 22, of 708 N. 85th St., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated domestic battery on or about Sept. 9 by East St. Louis police. Sharp allegedly, in committing a domestic battery, knowingly strangled Jamiya S. Little, a family/household member, in that said defendant grabbed her neck with his hands and applied pressure, thereby impeding her normal breathing.

Kelvin L. Johnson, 55, of 558 Old Caseyville Road, Collinsville, arrested on suspicion of three counts of aggravated battery on or about Aug. 15 by Collinsville police. Johnson allegedly, in committing a battery, knowingly made physical contact with Drew Johnson, a person over the age of 60 ears, in that said defendant hit her about her body with a power cord; pushed her to the ground, causing her to strike her head; struck her in the back of her head with his fist.

Michael A. Dale, 56, of 1713 W. Highway 50 St., 48, O'Fallon, arrested on suspicion of two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and indecent solicitation of a child on or about Sept. 9 by O'Fallon police. Dale allegedly committed sexual abuse with a male minor, date of birth Jan. 3, 2000; knowingly solicited a male minor child, with the intent of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse.

THURSDAY, SEPT. 12

James G. Clinton, 54, of 3225 South Belt West, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of aggravated driving under the influence and driving while driver's license is revoked, subsequent on or about Sept. 9 by Belleville police. Clinton allegedly, drove a green 2007 Ford Ranger on Illinois Highway Route 161 in Belleville, while the defendant was under the influence of alcohol and during a period in which the defendant's driving privileges were revoked. Defendant had been previously convicted of Driving While license is Revoked on March 25, 2002.

Montez F. Brownlee Jr., 22, of 305 Marion, Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of two counts of aggravated fleeing and attempting to elude a police office and resisting a peace officer on or about Sept. 11 by Cahokia police. Brownlee allegedly, while operating a motor vehicle, a black 2003 Chrysler 300, was given a visual signal by a police officer, Matthew Mason, who was in police uniform and driving a vehicle which displayed illuminated, oscillating, rotating or flashing red or blue lights which when used in conjunction with an audible horn or siren would indicate the vehicle to be an official police vehicle, directing the defendant to bring said vehicle to a stop, willfully fled or attempted to elude the police officer and than when willfully fleeing or attempting to elude the police officer, the defendant traveled at a rate of speed 21 miles per hour over the legal speed limit and disobeyed two or more official traffic control devices, being stoplights; knowingly resisted the performance of Gary Craig of an authorized act within his official capacity, being the arrest of Montez Brownlee, knowing Gary Craig to be a peace officer engaged in the execution of his official duties, in that he refused to be handcuffed.

Patrick D. Leroy, 46, of 732 Veronica Place, East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of violate an order of protection on or about Sept. 3 by Belleville police. Leroy allegedly, having been served with the contents of an order of protection, did knowingly commit an act which was prohibited by the order of protection in that said defendant approached and spoke to Phyllis D. Alexander, a protected party. The defendant had been previously convicted of Unlawful Violation of an Order of Protection on March 2, 2012.

Timothy Bassett Sr., 41, of 2612 Renshaw Ave., Apt. 1, East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of three counts of domestic battery, subsequent and aggravated battery on or about Aug. 22 by Belleville police. Bassett allegedly, made physical contact with Jessica M. Cole, a family/household member, said defendant grabbed her by the throat, shoved her into a kitchen cabinet and punched her in the head. Defendant had been previously convicted of Domestic Battery on July 23, 2004.

Rico A. Crawford, 30, of 5926 Gay Ave., Centreville, arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery on or about Sept. 10 by Centreville police. Crawford allegedly, in committing a battery, knowingly made physical contact with Alfred Crawford, a person over the age of 60 years, in that said defendant struck him on the head with a pipe wrench.
