Pair rob Belleville Hardee's

Belleville Police are investigating a Saturday morning armed robbery of the Hardee's restaurant on North Belt West.

According to police, a pair of robbers, described as black men with thin builds standing about 6 feet tall and wearing dark clothing and hoodies, walked into the restaurant at 1617 N. Belt West around 6:20 a.m. armed with handguns. The pair ordered an employee and a customer to the floor, stole cash and personal property from the customer before fleeing on foot.

A K-9 unit was used to search for the suspects but the dog lost the scent near Donna Drive.
