BELLEVILLE POLICE

FRIDAY, SEPT. 13

6:08 a.m. Criminal damage to property -- 900 block of South Sixth Street. The victim reported a woman damaged the right rear quarter panel on her vehicle.

3:43 p.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 400 block of Affleck. The victim reported his vehicle was entered and property was stolen.

4:32 p.m. Theft -- 7400 West Main Street. Darryl Smith, 31, was arrested for theft and taken into custody.

11:28 p.m. Criminal trespass to property -- Schatze's, 2301 E. Main St. David N. Mellor, 31, was arrested for trespassing and taken into custody.

11:51 p.m. Hit and run, driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia -- 8100 block of Illinois 15. James McDonnell, 50, was arrested and taken into custody.

SATURDAY, SEPT. 14

12:05 a.m. Curfew violation -- 100 block of North 28th Street. A juvenile was arrested for violating curfew and was taken into custody.

2:15 a.m. Possession of stolen property, battery -- Big Daddy's rear parking lot, 313 E. Main St. Two suspects were arrested for battery and possession of stolen property. Both were taken into custody.

6:20 a.m. Armed robbery -- Hardee's, 1617 North Belt West. Complainants reported two men armed with handguns. The suspects stole cash and personal property. They left the store on foot in an unknown direction of travel.

10:10 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- First block of North 50th Street. The victim reported two of his vehicles were entered and property was stolen.

10:20 a.m. Battery -- 900 block of Freeburg Avenue. J.C. Jones, 45, was arrested for battery and taken into custody.

6:17 p.m. Domestic battery -- 8200 block of West Main Street. The suspect was arrested for domestic battery and taken into custody.

10:01 p.m. Retail theft -- Circle K, 300 Green Mount Road. Management reported a man stole merchandise from the store.

10:37 p.m. Curfew violation, improper supervision of children -- North 11th at West A Street. Three juveniles were arrested for violating curfew. All three were taken into custody. Their respective guardians -- Carlos A. Fields, 38; Ethel M. McCall, 54; and Latoya L. Sampson, 39 -- were issued non traffic citations for improper supervision of children.

11:34 p.m. Battery -- 300 block of North 46th Street. The victim reported he was battered by an acquaintance/suspect and several men after a verbal dispute. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

SUNDAY, SEPT. 15

12:26 a.m. Possession of stolen property, recovery of stolen property -- 900 block of Freeburg Avenue. A juvenile was arrested for possession of stolen property and taken into custody.

5:09 p.m. Criminal damage to property -- First block of Periwinkle Circle. The victim reported the windshield on his pickup truck was broken out. Victim believes juveniles were responsible.

7:03 p.m. Retail theft, battery -- Walmart, 2601 Green Mount Commons. Jamie king, 30, was arrested for retail theft and battery. She was taken into custody.

9:11 p.m. Burglary to vehicle -- Parking lot, 2600 W. Main St. The victim reported entry was forced to her vehicle and property was stolen.

MONDAY, SEPT. 16

12:02 a.m. Traffic stop, possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia -- North Belt West at Frank Scott Parkway. Remington J. Belk, 19, was arrested for possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia. He was taken into custody.

1:12 a.m. Accident, driving under the influence -- 9000 block of West Main Street. Kimberly A. Hunter, 44, was arrested for driving under the influence and taken into custody.

4:11 a.m. Burglary to motor vehicle, violation no contact order -- 1800 block of West Main Street. The victim reported observing the suspect standing next to his vehicle, violating an active no stalking/no contact order. The victim alleged a window to his vehicle had been opened and property stolen.

ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES

MONDAY, SEPT. 16

Kelly R. Mills, 39, of 402 Garden St., Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of theft between Aug. 17 and Sept. 9 by Cahokia police. Mills allegedly, exerted control over property of Gateway Foods, being U.S. currency, total value not in excess of $500. Defendant had been previously convicted of aggravated robbery on Oct. 3, 2006.

Demeatress Wesley, 44, of 2004 N. Slater Ave., Compton, Calif., arrested on suspicion of controlled substance trafficking and unlawful possession with intent to deliver on or about Sept. 13 by Metropolitan Enforcement Group of Southwestern Illinois. Wesley allegedly, brought more than 15 and less than 100 grams of a substance containing heroin with the intent to deliver; knowingly had in his possession more than 14 and less than 100 grams of a substance containing heroin with the intent to deliver.

Preston Q. Young, 18, of 508 Gray B, East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of residential burglary on or about Sept. 3 by East St. Louis police. Young allegedly, entered into the dwelling place of Bessie Lee, located at 422 N. 21st St., East St. Louis, with the intent to commit theft therein.

Amber M. Berry, 31, of 311 Caufield Drive, Swansea, arrested on suspicion of aiding and abetting, possession and selling a stolen vehicle between Sept. 13, 2012, and Sept. 13, 2013, by Metro East Auto Theft Task Force. Berry allegedly, a person not entitled to possession of said vehicle, possessed a gold 2012 Chevrolet Malibu, with Tennessee registration, knowing it to have been stolen.

Roderick R. Jones, 30, of 1838 Cleveland, East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of burglary on or about Sept. 7 by East St. Louis police. Jones allegedly, entered the business belonging to Neil Scognamiglio, Pawn Pros Pawn Shop, located at 1116 State St., East St. Louis, with the intent to commit theft therein.

Tanzel J. Hunt, 18, of 10540 Perrin Road, Mascoutah, arrested on suspicion of residential burglary on or about Aug. 7 by Mascoutah police. Hunt allegedly, entered into the dwelling place of Jacqueline Jones, located at 31 S. County Road, Apt. 21, St. Clair County, with the intent to commit theft therein.

Haley N. Whitten, 19, of 114 N. County Road, Mascoutah, arrested on suspicion of residential burglary on or about Aug. 7 by Mascoutah police. Whitten allegedly, entered into the dwelling place of Jacqueline Jones, located at 31 S. County Road, Apt. 21, St. Clair County, with the intent to commit theft therein.

Christopher F. McCaskill, 19, of 31 S. County Road, Apt. 16, Mascoutah, arrested on suspicion of residential burglary on oar about Aug. 7 by Mascoutah police. McCaskill allegedly, entered into the dwelling place of Jacqueline Jones, located at 31 S. County Road, apt. 21, St. Clair County, with the intent to commit theft therein.

Jessica D. Wall, 24, of 1130 Wabash Ave., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of retail theft on or about June 28 by O'Fallon police. Wall allegedly took merchandise from Walmart in O'Fallon, being an air conditioner, total retail value in excess of $300.

Dandre C. Cotton, 29, of 1840 Trendley, East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, subsequent on or about Sept. 14 by East St. Louis police. Cotton allegedly, carried on his person a .45-caliber handgun at a time when he was not on his own land, or in his own abode, or fixed place of business, uncased, loaded and accessible. Defendant had been previously convicted of forgery on Aug. 7.
