Shelter in a storm, please

September 20, 2013

Two points:

* I was the first in line at the Belleville Driver's License Facility. I found the staff to be very helpful and pleasant; they took care of my needs quickly, so a big thanks to them.

If I could make one suggestion: During inclement weather if they could either open the door five minutes early or, better yet, install some sort of overhang over the entrance ramp, I know we would all appreciate it.

* If you ever need a dose of humility or a reality check on who veterans are, the sacrifice they made for us or how lucky you have it, I suggest you go sit in the lobby of the John Cochran VA Hospital. I say thank you to all of our veterans.
