BELLEVILLE POLICE

SUNDAY, SEPT. 22

12:09 p.m. Arson, criminal damage to property -- 100 block of South 44th Street. The victim reported unknown person(s) damaged windows to the residence to gain entry and small fires were started.

8:01 p.m. Burglary to vehicle -- parking lot, 340 W. Lincoln. The victim reported the rear passenger window had been broken out and property was stolen.

9:43 p.m. Retail theft -- Shop N Save, 800 Carlyle. Jaylin D. Gaines 19, was arrested for retail theft and taken into custody.

MONDAY, SEPT. 23

2:57 a.m. Disturbance, arrest -- 800 block of Carlyle Avenue. Shawn J. Lake, 34, was arrested for outstanding non traffic citations for theft. He was taken into custody.

6:01 a.m. Burglary -- Aaron Rent To Own, 5720 N. Belt West. The manager reported a rear overhead door was forced open and property was stolen.

7:40 a.m. Criminal damage to property -- Ameren, 1050 West Boulevard. The reporting party stated a window was damaged possibly by a pellet gun.

11:19 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- Wal-Mart, 2601 Green Mount Commons. The victim reported her unlocked vehicle was entered and property was stolen.

11:31 a.m. Traffic stop, possession of a controlled substance -- North 38th Street. The occupants of the vehicle were arrested for possession of a controlled substance and taken into custody.

4:31 p.m. Retail theft -- K0Mart, 7230 Westfield Plaza. Tyler Eisele, 18, was arrested for retail theft and taken into custody.

6:59 p.m. Attempted burglary to residence, criminal damage to property -- 300 block of North Virginia. The victim reported hearing a loud noise during the night and he observed a shoe print on the front door and damage to the door frame.

7:27 p.m. Retail theft -- Dollar General, #4 Wade Square. The assistant manager reported a subject stole merchandise form the store.

7:57 p.m Disorderly conduct, failure to comply -- 900 block of West C Street. Latonya D. Davis, 21, was arrested for improper walking in the roadway and failure to comply. She was taken into custody.

ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES

FRIDAY, SEPT. 20

Cris J. Lang, 52, of 42 Riviera Drive, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of two counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school on or about Aug. 14 and Sept. 4 by St. Clair County sheriff. Lang allegedly, while within 1,000 feet of a school, being the Freeburg Communityu High School, located at 401 S. Monroe St., Freeburg, knowingly delivered to a confidential source, less than one gram of a substance containing cocaine.

John Schmidt, 53, of 308 St. Clair Court, Freeburg, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of cannabis, subsequent on or about Sept. 19 by St. Clair County sheriff. Schmidt allegedly, had in his possession more than 10 grams but less than 30 grams of a substance containing cannabis. Defendant had been previously convicted of Unlawful Possession with the Intent to Deliver Cannabis on May 23, 1996.

Oliver D. Dawson III, 27, of 3546 N. 24th St., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery, great bodilyharm on or about Sept. 14 by Belleville police. Dawson allegedly, in committing a battery, knowingly caused great bodily harm to Adrian R. Reid, in that said defendant kicked and punched Adrian R. Reid about the face and body.

MONDAY, SEPT. 23

Roderick J. Kapp, 57, of 5649 Seasons Ridge, Smithton, arrested on suspicion of permitting the unlawful use of a building between Aug. 14 and Sept. 19 by St. Clair County sheriff. Kapp allegedly, permitting a building, which was controlled by the defendant, being Burgard's Tavern located at 1 West High Street, Freeburg, to be used for the purpose of the unlawful delivery of controlled substances, being cocaine.

Sean M. Flynn, 39, of 3607 Falling Springs, Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of methamphetamine on or about Sept. 19 by St. Clair County sheriff. Flynn allegedly, had in his possession less than five grams of a substance containing methamphetamine.

John W. Satterfield, 29, of 1808 Harvest Drive, Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of methamphetamine manufacturing materials on or baout Sept. 19 by St. Clair County sheriff. Satterfield allegedly, had in his possession methamphetamine manufacturing materials, being batteries, muriatic acid, lye and liquid drainer opener, with the intent that the above materials be used to manufacture methamphetamine.

Reginal G. Bell, 49, of 3522 Trendley Ave., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of failure to register as a sex offender between May 5, 2011 and Sept. 19 by St. Clair County sheriff. Bell allegedly, a sex offender, knowingly failed to register in accordance with the provisions of the Sex Offender Registration Act, with the Sheriff of St. Clair County, within 3 days of establishing a residence within that city.

Cortez D. Smith, 34, of 910 N. 71st St., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of felon possession and driving revoked on or about Sept. 20 by Fairview Heights police. Smith allegedly, a person who had been convicted of a felony under the law, knowingly possessed a .22 caliber revolver; drove a 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix on State Route 161 in Fairview Heights, at a time when defendant's driver's license was revoked. Defendant had been previously convicted of Driving While License Revoked, on Jan. 15, 2003.

Unique P. Sills, 22, of 3405 Rex Ave., St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of retail theft on or about Sept. 20 by Belleville police. Sills allegedly, took possession of merchandise at Wal-Mart, 2608 Greenmount Commons, Belleville, being four MPS music players, two cell phones, men's tank tops, men's pajama pants, a wool cap, and a pair of sunglasses, total retail value in excess of $300.

Terry T. Pittman, 43, of 1412 Walter St., Apt. B, East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated kidnapping, aggravated criminal sexual abuse, two counts of aggravated battery on or about Sept. 8 by East St. Louis police. Pittman allegedly, secretly confined a female minor, date of birth Oct. 18, 2000; knowingly committed an act of sexual abuse on the female minor; caused bodily harm to the female minor in that said defendant choked her by placing her in a headlock and pulled out a braid from the hair of the female minor.

Jack N. Houston, 25, of 6805 Kris Lane, Red Bud, arrested on suspicion of burglary on or about Sept. 16 by New Athens police. Houston allegedly, entered into a building of Maurice Stephens, located at 404 N. East St., New Athens, with the intent to commit theft therein.

Eugene J. Gilmore Jr., 39, of 738 Alhambra Ave., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of felon possession and domestic battery on or about Sept. 21 by Alorton police. Gilmore allegedly, a person who has been convicted of a felony, knowingly possessed about his person a 39 Special Smith and Wesson; knowingly caused bodilyharm to Catrice Garrett, a family/household member, in that said defendant struck her below the right eye. The defendant had been previously convicted of Domestic Battery and Domestic Battery Subsequent on May 12, 2011.

Jason D. Morris, 42, of 29 N. Woodcrest Drive, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol on or about May 24 by Fairview Heights police. Morris allegedly, drove a white 1998 Plymouth Breeze on West State Route 161 in Fairview Heights, while the defendant was u nder the influence of alcohol. Defendant had previously been convicted of Driving Under the Influence on Oct. 8, 1993 and Driving Under the Influencec on Nov. 20, 2005.

Andrew C. Blanchard, 51, of 7111 Sharon Drive, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of aggravated driving under the influence and driving while driver's license is suspended, subsequent on or about Sept. 21 by Fairview Heights police. Blanchard allegedly, drove a black 2006 Dodge Dakota on St. Clair Avenue, in Fairview Heighrts, while the defendant was under the influence of alcohol and during a period in which the defendant's driving privileges were suspended. Defendant had been previously convicted of Driving While License is Suspended on April 25.

Erick Turner, 26, of 204 S. Fritz St., B, Lebanon, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of contraband in a penal institution, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and obstructing justice on or about Aug. 21 by St. Clair County sheriff. Turner allegedly, possessed an item of contraband, being a substance containing cocaine; had in his possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing cocaine; with the intent to obstruct in his prosecution for the offense of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, the said defendant knowingly concealed physical evidence, being a substance containing cocaine by swallowing the cocaine.

Sean M. Hall, 17, of 600 Fall, Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of cannabis on or about Sept. 22 by St. Clair County sheriff. Hall allegedly possessed 30 grams or more but less than 500 grams of a substance containing cannabis.

Herschel L. Lea, 43, of Marissa, arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, no registration and operating uninsured motor vehicle by Marissa police.

Vincent G. Lawrence, 21, of East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis by East St. Louis police.

Michael Randle, 32 of East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of criminal trespass to land by East St. Louis police.

Brian K. Adams, 30, of Caseyville, arrested on suspicion of probation violation and warrant arrest by East St. Louis police.

Earl Pratcher, 46, of Belleville, warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

Amanda A. Radtke, 30, of Caseyville, warrant arrest by East St. Louis police.

Deborah Callicott, 52, of East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of operating uninsured motor vehicle, suspended or revoked driver's license and traffic violation by East St. Louis police.

Caleb R. Murray, 21, of Washington Park, warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

Jarrion R. Jackson, 20, of Belleville, warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

Stephen A. Douglas, 55, of St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of criminal trespass to land and all other disorderly conduct by St. Clair County sheriff.

Johnnie L. Robinson, 33, of East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of failure to register as a sex offender by Belleville police.

Patricia A. Combs, 23, of Belleville, arrested on suspicion of endangering the life or health by St. Clair County sheriff.

Dominique C. Webb, 20, of Fairview Heights, arrested on suspicion of probation violation by Fairview Heights police.

Catherine B. Downes, 43, of Central City, arrested on suspicion of retail theft by Fairview Heights police.

Stacy A. Stevenson, 47, of Lebanon, arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis by St. Clair County sheriff.

Frank A. Hunt, 38, of Granite City, arrested on suspicion of operating uninsured motor vehicle, suspended or revoked driver's license and warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

James R. Foley, 24, of Belleville, arrested on suspicion of criminal trespass to land and possession of cannbis, resisting, obstructing or disarming a police office and warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.
