Opinion about Syria, Obama based on what?

September 25, 2013

Michael Ray Dillier's letter on Sunday, "Obama's threat turned tide," caught my attention. It proclaimed how successful the president has been in the Syria negotiations and how President Bush would have mishandled the situation.

I just shook my head in amazement. I can't understand how anyone who follows the news could honestly believe that. However, I must remember that everyone is entitled to his opinion no matter how outrageous it seems to me.

One a side note, in the picture you published of Russian President Vladimir Putin and President Obama shaking hands, it appears that Obama has lost some weight recently. It occurred to me that it must be because Putin is "eating his lunch" every day. At least that's my opinion, and I would venture to guess the opinion of most of the rest of the world.
