Man hospitalized after crash in Centreville

A 26-year-old man was rushed to the hospital after he crashed into a utility pole in Centreville late Wednesday night.

According to TV reports, police said the man was driving westbound on Lake Drive near 57th Street around 11:30 p.m. when he crossed the center lane and struck the pole.

The man was transported to Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Centreville Police have not identified the victim.
