BELLEVILLE POLICE

TUESDAY, SEPT. 24

7:20 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 400 block of Springwood Drive. The victim reported his unlocked vehicle was entered and property was taken.

7:55 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- First block of Knob Hill. The victim reported his unlocked vehicle was entered and property was taken.

9:51 a.m. Burglary -- Paule's Towing, 1221 Freeburg Ave. A co-owner reported a window was broken and property was stolen from the business.

1:58 p.m. Possession of a controlled substance -- Pleasant Hill Park, 61 N. Sixth St. The suspect was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and taken into custody.

5:32 p.m. Theft -- 900 block of McClintock. The victim reported the air conditioning unit was removed from the residence.

6:11 p.m. Criminal damage to property -- First block of North 64th Street. The victim reported a rock was thrown at his vehicle, damaging the windshield.

7:09 p.m. Theft -- 200 block of South 17th Street. The victim reported property was stolen from her yard.

7:29 p.m. Criminal damage to property -- 200 block of Freedom Drive. The victim reported a rock was thrown through the rear window of her vehicle.

WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 25

11:28 a.m. Battery -- 1000 block of Belle Valley Drive. The victim reported the suspect allegedly battered her. The victim signed a non traffic citation for battery against the suspect.

6:04 p.m. Criminal trespass to property -- Schatze's Bar and Grill, 2301 E. Main St. David N. Mellar, 31, was arrested for trespassing and taken into custody.

6:42 p.m. Theft -- 800 block of Union Avenue. The victim reported his property was stolen from the yard of the residence.

6:55 p.m. Criminal damage to property -- Citizens Park, 341 Citizens Park Drive. An employee reported a piece of plexiglass missing and damage to the wooden barricade arms to the entrance to the Herzog Park.

THURSDAY, SEPT. 26

9:05 a.m. Criminal damage to property -- First block of West Pheasantwood. The victim reported observing the suspect damage the windshield of her vehicle.

12:44 p.m. Retail theft -- Keil's Clock Shop, 109 E. Main St. An employee reported merchandise was stolen from the business.

2:27 p.m. Burglary to residence -- 400 block of South McKinley. The victims reported a window in the rear door was broken in an attempt to gain entry to the residence.

3:18 p.m. Harassment by telephone -- 800 block of Lucinda. The victim reported her ex-boyfriend/suspect allegedly threatened her via text message.

6:36 p.m. Theft -- North 36th Street at West A Street. The victim reported giving a ride to two females. When he arrived home he noticed his property had been stolen.

11:40 p.m. Retail theft -- Shop 'n Save, 4201 North Belt West. The suspect was arrested for drunkenness and taken into custody.

FRIDAY, SEPT. 27

2:54 a.m. Drunkenness -- Jack in the Box, 500 S. Illinois St. Roy D. King, 35, was arrested for drunkenness and taken into custody.

ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES

TUESDAY, SEPT. 24

Xavier Gomez, 26, of 136 S. Pine St., Hazleton, Pa., arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of counterfeit credit card on or about Sept. 21 by Illinois State Police. Gomez allegedly, with intent to defraud the Casino Queen, an entity providing an item of value, being U.S. currency, unlawfully possessed a counterfeit credit card, issued by Capital One Bank to Xavier Gomez, with the knowledge that the card had been counterfeited.

Adrian M. Harris, 24 of 32 N. 39th St., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of reckless discharge of a firearm on or about Sept. 22 by Belleville police. Harris allegedly, endangered the bodily safety of Taylor M. Harris in that said defendant, while acting in a reckless manner, discharged a firearm inside the residence at 32 N. 39th St., Belleville, while Taylor Harris was present in the same room.

Dontay R. Moore, 32, of 228 Donald St., Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of two counts of aggravated battery on or about Sept. 23 by East St. Louis police. Moore allegedly, in committing a battery, knowingly made physical contact with Jessica Lewis, a pregnant person, in that he grabbed her about the body with his hands and struck her in the fact with his hand.

Silas Brown, 27, of 4449 Wilcox, St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of retail theft, subsequent on or about Sept. 23 by Fairview Heights police. Brown allegedly, took merchandise from Hollister Store, 226 St. Clair Square, Fairview Heights, being bottles of cologne, total retail value not in excess of $300. Defendant had been previously convicted of stealing $500 or more on Oct. 19, 2009.

Craig L. Boone, 33, of 6 Mary Ann Drive, Fairview Heights, arrested on suspicion of escape on or about Sept. 19 by miscellaneous agencies. Boone allegedly, who was charged with the felony offense of retail theft and who was conditionally released from the St. Clair County Jail, the supervising authority, through an electronic home monitoring detention program with the St. Clair County Probation Department, knowingly violated a condition of that program in that said defendant, without permission left his residence and his whereabouts were unknown.

Cornelius L. Edwards, 30, of 1400 Missouri Ave., Apt. 43B, East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon on or about Sept. 23 by St. Clair County sheriff. Edwards allegedly, a person who had been convicted of a felony, knowingly possessed about his person a 9mm handgun. Defendant had been previously convicted of aggravated robbery on May 2, 2001.

WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 25

Dennis A. Jones Jr., 24, of 3 Shawn Drive, 103, Swansea, arrested on suspicion of retail theft, subsequent on or about Sept. 24 by Fairview Heights police. Jones allegedly, took merchandise from Macy's, 200 St. Clair Square, Fairview Heights, being children's clothing, total retail value not in excess of $300. Defendant had been previously convicted of retail theft on Sept. 13.

Mykayla M. Bator, 23, of 3 Shawn Drive, Lot 111, Swansea, arrested on suspicion of retail theft, subsequent on or about Sept. 24 by Fairview Heights police. Bator allegedly, took merchandise from Macy's, 200 St. Clair Square, Fairview Heights, being a sweatshirt and jeans, total retail value not in excess of $300. Defendant had been previously convicted of retail theft on Sept. 18.

THURSDAY, SEPT. 26

Daryan J. Bruce, 17, of 1141 Goelz Drive, East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of theft from a person on or about Sept. 20 by East St. Louis police. Bruce allegedly, obtained property from the person of Ellis Twiggs Jr., being an iPhone, total value not in excess of $500.

Patrick J. Gannon, 33, of 329 E. Gooding, Millstadt, arrested on suspicion of theft, subsequent on or about Aug. 25 by Millstadt police. Gannon allegedly, took property of Dan Schneider, being a laptop computer, total value not in excess of $500. Defendant had been previously convicted of theft on July 1, 2009.

Jermaine L. Ross, 42, of 2749 Calvin Blvd., Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of two counts of domestic battery on or about Sept. 20 by St. Clair County sheriff. Ross allegedly, made contact with Alecia R. Young, a family/household member, in that said defendant pushed her in the back of the head with his hand; pushed her to the ground with his hands. Defendant had been previously convicted of aggravated domestic battery on June 1, 2011.

Diondre D. Shanklin, 19, of 20 E. Adams Drive, Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of failure to renew registration as a sex offender on or about June 11 by Cahokia police. Shanklin allegedly, a sex offender, knowingly failed to renew registration in accordance with the provisions of the Sex Offender Registration Act, with the Cahokia police chief, within 90 days of last registration.

Patrick J. Bryant, 58, of 8 Clinton Road, Fairview Heights, arrested on suspicion of aggravated driving under the influence and driving in suspended license on or about Sept. 25 by Fairview Heights police. Bryant allegedly drove a maroon 1997 Ford SUV on Ashland in Fairview Heights, while the defendant was under the influence of alcohol and during a period in which the defendant's driving privileges were suspended.

TUESDAY, SEPT. 24

Marcus D. Hall, 43, of Lebanon, arrested on suspicion of operating uninsured motor vehicle, operating motor vehicle with suspended license, suspended or revoked driver's license by St. Clair County sheriff.

Derek D. Twesten, 21, of Maryville, arrested on suspicion of two counts of driving under the influence and two traffic violations by Illinois State Police.

Terry T. Pittman, 43, of East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated kidnapping by East St. Louis police.

Donavon D. Brady, 20, of East St. Louis, warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

Adrian M. Harris, 24, of Belleville, arrested on suspicion of reckless discharge of a firearm by Belleville police.

Maurice J. Hicks, 39, of Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of probation violation by St. Clair County sheriff.

Lennil L. Johnson, 46, of St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated domestic battery and warrant arrest by East St. Louis police.

Andrew C. Blanchard, 51, of Belleville, arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence by Fairview Heights police.

FEDERAL COURT

TUESDAY, SEPT. 24

Crystal D. Kellems, 38, of Dupo, who previously pleaded guilty to conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, was sentenced to serve more than 10 years in prison, according to U.S. Attorney Stephen Wigginton. The offense occurred between June 2012 and Jan. 28 in Jackson and Randolph counties. During the conspiracy, Kellems obtained more than 70 grams of pseudoephedrine for the use in the manufacture of meth.
