Fun facts about Game 1 of NLDS

— If you're attending Game 1 of the National League Division Series between the St. Louis Cardinals and Pittsburgh Pirates at 4:07 p.m. Thursday at Busch Stadium, here are a few things to know:

* There will be a pregame pep rally in the Ballpark Village parking lot from 1 to 3 p.m, with music from disc jockey Todd Thomas, entertainment prizes and a chance to meet Fredbird. The 2011 World Series trophy will be on display, and former Cardinals pitcher Andy Benes will sign autographs from 2 to 3.

*Stadium gates open at 2 p.m.

* All fans will receive a Cardinals Rally Towel, courtesy of Mercy Medical.

*The pregame ceremony inside Busch Stadium begins at 3:30 p.m. The Budweiser Clydesdales will begin their trek into the stadium from Ballpark Village.

* The national anthem will be performed by Four Digit Chord, an a cappella group of civilian and military volunteers from Scott Air Force Base in Mascoutah. Service members from Scott AFB will hold a large flag during the anthem.

* Cardinals broadcaster Mike Shannon will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
