Fete at the Fort -- 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Fort de Chartres State Historic Site near Prairie du Rocher. A day of beer sampling in an authentic 1700s atmosphere. Admission is $15 in advance; $20 at the door. Brewers from across the Midwest will have their products available for sampling by those over 21. The 1700s French fort will come alive with historic interreters and musicians during the day, including Native Americans, French marines, British soldiers, cannon crews, fife and drum coups and bagpipe groups.
