FALL CLASSIC CAMP -- Fall Classic Baseball Camp for players in grades 1-6 1:30-4:30 p.m. Oct. 19 at Freeburg Park. Instructors include Althoff coaches Brett Isaacs and Mark Brachman, minor-league pitcher Brett Huber and former Freeburg High coach Fred Blumberg. BACK-2-BACK PROGRAMS -- Back-2-Back Baseball & Softball Training in Highland offering: Pitchers Velocity Program with former St. Louis Cardinals minor league pitcher Cale Johnson is 6-7 p.m. and 7:30-8:45 p.m. Oct. 9. Fall hitting leagues begin Oct. 5 with weekly games for six weeks, including two weeks of playoffs. Top finishing team receives free entry into the next available hitting league; second place receives discounted entry fee. FAMILY SPORTSPLEX EVENTS -- The Family Sportsplex in Belleville will host a Fall 3-on-3 Tournament for boys and girls in grades 8-12 Oct. 26. The Sportsplex is offering a Skills and Drills basketball camp for boys and girls in grades 4-9 will run every Wednesday through Nov. 13; $10 per session.
