BELLEVILLE POLICE

MONDAY, OCT. 7

8:59 a.m. Theft -- 500 block of South Illinois. The victim reported property was stolen from inside his residence.

10:41 a.m. Burglary -- 200 block of Sparrow Point Lane. The victim reported property was stolen from a construction site.

1:24 p.m. Theft -- 300 block of North Church Street. The reporting party stated an air conditioning unit was stolen from the residence.

1:48 p.m. Residential burglary -- 900 block of North Church Street. The victim reported her unsecured residence was entered and property was stolen.

7:37 p.m. Battery -- 1000 block of Bristow. Two juveniles fought each other in the roadway.

8:50 p.m. Drunkenness, failure to comply, resisting -- 1700 block of North Church Street. David Moller, 32, was arrested and taken into custody.

11:26 p.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 100 block of North 44th Street. The victim reported a rear window was broken out of his vehicle, the hood keyed and property was stolen. He suspects an ex-girlfriend.

TUESDAY, OCT. 8

8:01 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 100 block of East Adams. The victim reported his unlocked vehicle was entered and property was stolen.

1:42 p.m. Burglary -- 100 block of Arapaho. The victim reported his unsecured trailer was entered and property was stolen.

3:06 p.m. Theft -- DaVita Metro East Dialysis, 5105 W. Main St. Two victims reported property stolen out of their lockers.

3:59 p.m. Burglary to trailer --2600 block of Cedar Grove. The victim reported a lock was cut off the trailer and property was stolen.

6:45 p.m. Criminal damage to property -- Citizen's Park, 341 Citizens Park. The victim reported his vehicle was damaged while parked on the parking lot.

9:04 p.m. Burglary to residence -- 7000 block of West Main Street. The victim reported forced entry was made to her residence and property was stolen.

9:07 p.m. Traffic stop, driving revoked -- Wabash at Olive. The driver/suspect was arrested and taken into custody.

10:40 p.m. Aggravated domestic battery -- 100 block of North 18th Street. The suspect was arrested and taken into custody.

ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES

MONDAY, OCT. 7

Robert L. Murphy, 42, of 1201 Baker Ave., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of two counts of aggravated fleeing on or about Oct. 4 by Cahokia police. Murphy allegedly, while operating a motor vehicle, a black 1999 Chevrolet Impala, was given a visual signal by a police officer, Jarrett Neff, who was in police uniform and driving a vehicle which displayed illuminated, oscillating, rotating or flashing red or blue lights which when used in conjunction with an audible horn or siren would indicate the vehicle to be an official police vehicle, directing the defendant to bring said 1999 Chevrolet Impala to a stop, willfully fled or attempted to elude the police officer and than when willfully fleeing or attempting to elude the police officer, traveled at a rate of speed 21 mph over the legal speed limit; and stop signs located at the intersections of 19th and Central and 19th and Gay streets.

James D. Mezo, 52, of 724 Lunch Road, Smithton, arrested on suspicion of driving while driver's license is revoked, subsequent on or about July 10 by Smithton police. Mezo allegedly, drove a motorcycle on Lunch Road in Smithton, at a time when the defendant's driver's license was revoked. Defendant had been previously convicted of Driving While License is Revoked on July 14, 2011.

James L. Cantrall, 32, of 8585 Maru Lane, New Athens, arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery and mob action on or about Dec. 30, 2012 by Lenzburg police. Cantrall allegedly, in committing a battery, knowingly caused great bodily harm to Michael Turnure, in that he kicked him in the face with his foot; knowingly, by the use of force and violence, disturbed the public peace in that he while acting together with David Henson and without authority of law, struck Michael Turnure about the face thereby inflicting injury to him.

David J. Henson, 33, of 406 S. Elizabeth St., New Athens, arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery and mob action on or about Dec. 30, 2012 by Lenzburg police. Henson allegedly, in committing a battery, and while Michael Turnure was at Babes Tavern, located at 81 N. Main St., Lenzburg, a public place, knowingly made physical contact with him, in that he struck him about the face with his hand; knowingly, be the use of force and violence, disturbed the public peace in that he while acting together with James Cantrell and without authority of law, struck Michael Turnure about the face thereby inflicting injury to him.

Dorian T. Johnson, 34, of 8 Lazercheff Drive, Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of two counts of domestic battery, subsequent offense on or about Oct. 5 by Cahokia police. Johnson allegedly, made physical contact with Angelique Hill, a family/household member, in that said defendant punched her about her body; kicked her about her body. Defendant had been previously convicted of domestic battery on Jan. 25, 2005.

Hannah R. Haywood, 27, of 3741 Kosciusko Ave., St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of retail theft on or about Oct. 5 by Fairview Heights police. Haywood allegedly, took merchandise from J.C. Penney, 245 St. Clair Square, Fairview Heights, being earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and other merchandise, total retail value in excess of $300.

Candace N. Burnett, 21, of 1800 Weiman Ave., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of retail theft on or about Oct. 6 by Fairview Heights. Burnett allegedly took merchandise from Macy's, 200 St. Clair Square, Fairview Heights, being sweatshirts and sweatpants, total retail value in excess of $300.

Fidel G. Rodriguez, 54, of 3628 Lindell Blvd., St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of burglary on or about Aug. 29 by Fairview Heights police. Rodriguez allegedly, remained within a motor vehicle, a 1994 Dodge Ram 2500 truck, of Kennedi Auto Sales, 10280 Lincoln Trail, Fairview Heights, with the intent to commit theft therein.

Shawna M. Pacewic, 40, of 103B Woodhenge, Apt. S, Collinsville, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of methamphetamine and obstructing identification on or about Oct. 5, by St. Clair County sheriff. Pacewic allegedly, had in her possession less than 5 grams of a substance containing methamphetamine; knowingly furnished a false name to Calvin Savage, a peace officer for the County of St. Clair Sheriff's Department, who has lawfully detained said defendant.

Gregory M. Voegtle, 76 Regency Place, Millstadt, arrested on suspicion of driving while driver's license is revoked and aggravated driving under the influence on or about Oct. 6 by Millstadt police. Voegtle allegedly, who had been issued a Monitoring Device Driving Permit, drove a gold 2004 Chevrolet Blazer on West Mill Street in Millstadt, which was not equipped with an ignition interlock device at a time when defendant's driver's license was revoked; drove a gold 2004 Chevrolet Blazer on West Mill Street in Millstadt, while the defendant was under the influence of alcohol and during a period in which the defendant's driving privileges were revoked for a violation.

Richard L. McKinney, 23, of 31 Richard Place, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of aggravated driving under the influence on or about July 22 by Belleville police. McKinney allegedly, drove a 2002 Subaru Impreze on Illinois Route 13 in Belleville, while the defendant was under the influence of alcohol and the defendant, at the time of the commission of said violation was involved in a motor vehicle accident that resulted in the great bodily harm of Verna Hollins, and said violation was a proximate cause of the injuries to Vera Hollins.

TUESDAY, OCT. 8

Russell J. Chesley, 32, of 3927 Jamieson Ave. 1, St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance on or about Aug. 9 by St. Clair County sheriff. Chesley allegedly, had in his possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing heroin.

Travis C. Schaefer, 37, of 309 W. Embassy Drive, Fairview Heights, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance on or about May 15 by St. Clair County sheriff. Schaefer allegedly, had in his possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing heroin.

James C. Parker, 51, of 428 S. 7th St., Caseyville, arrested on suspicion of domestic batter, subsequent on or about Oct. 7 by Caseyville police. Parker allegedly, made physical contact with Jennifer L. Parker, a family/household member, in that the defendant pushed her in the chest. Defendant had been previously convicted of Domestic Battery on Jan. 12, 2012.

Andrew M. Whitaker-Portz, 22, of 4507 Elk Meadows Lane, Smithton, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance on or about Oct. 7 by Fairview Heights police. Whitaker-Portz allegedly, had in his possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing heroin.

Zachary S. Daniels, 18, of 2234 Keim Road, New Athens, arrested on suspicion of burglary between Sept. 10 and Sept. 11 by New Athens police. Daniels allegedly, entered into a building of Jeff Lehr, doing business as Lehr's Meat Market, located at 102 S. Van Buren St., New Athens, with the intent to commit theft therein.

Staton S. O'Dell, 18, of 7 Sandridge Road, New Athens, arrested on suspicion of burglary between Sept. 10 and Sept. 11 by New Athens police. O'Dell allegedly, entered into a building of Jeff Lehr, doing business as Lehr's Meat Market, located at 102 S. Van Buren St., New Athens, with the intent to commit theft therein.

Dustin T. Nelson, 18, of 8858 Tina Lane, New Athens, arrested on suspicion of burglary between Sept. 10 and Sept. 11 by New Athens police. Nelson allegedly, entered into a building of Jeff Lehr, doing business as Lehr's Meat Market, located at 102 S. Van Buren St., New Athens, with the intent to commit theft therein.

Chelsea V. Gutgsell, 29, of 2013 N. 4th St., Fayetteville, arrested on suspicion of official misconduct, unlawful accusation of a controlled substance and theft on or about Sept. 25 by St. Clair County sheriff. Gutgsell allegedly, a public employee, an employee of the St. Clair County Animal Control Center, of St. Clair County, while acting in her official capacity knowingly performed an act which she knew was forbidden by law to perform being the offense of theft, in that she knowingly exerted unauthorized control over property of St. Clair County Animal Control Center, being 2 bottles of ketamine, total value not in excess of $500; knowingly obtained possession of a substance containing ketamine, a controlled substance, by deception in that she, used her position as an employee of the St. Clair County Animal Control Center to acquire a quantity of ketamine; knowingly exerted unauthorized control over property of St. Clair County Animal Control Center, located at 1250 S. 11th St., Belleville, being 2 bottles of ketamine, being governmental property, total value not in excess of $500.

Delas M. Carter, 23, of 1815 Parsons Ave., Apt. C, East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of robbery and theft on or about Oct. 3 by St. Clair County sheriff. Carter allegedly, took property, being a white iPhone from the person of Brian Michalowski, by the use of force; knowingly obtained unauthorized control over property from the person of Brian Michalowski, being a white iPhone, total value not in excess of $500.

Roderick A. Roberson Jr., 21, of 687 N. 55th St., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of robbery and theft on or about Oct. 3 by St. Clair County sheriff. Roberson allegedly, took property being a white Galaxy S4 cellular phone from the he person of Crystal Brown by the use of force; knowingly obtained unauthorized control over property from the person of Crystal Brown, being a white Galaxy S4 cellular phone, total value not in excess of $500.

Steven E. Marshall, 28m if 3616 W. Main St., Apt. 3, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of failure to report accident involving personal injury on or about Aug. 29 by Swansea police. Marshall allegedly, left the scene of an accident involving the vehicle he was driving, after that vehicle was involved in an accident at North Illinois Street and Brackett Street in Swansea, in which William Wager was personally injured as a result of that accident, and thereafter failed to report the accident to the Swansea Police Department or any police department or Sheriff's Office near the place where such accident occurred within one-half hour after the accident.

Keith P. Schwartz, 41, of 34 Diane Drive, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of criminal damage to property on or about May 6 by Swansea police. Schwartz allegedly, damaged property of Steven Neumeyer, being a door in the residence located at 324 Gilbert St., Swansea, without Steven Neumeyer's consent, said damage in excess of $300.

Justin D. Goins, 19, of 3031 Martha St., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance on or about Oct. 7 by St. Clair County sheriff. Goins allegedly, had in his possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing heroin.
