In response to Judy Neel's accusation that the "fanatical Republican fringe" held up the budget vote: It wasn't the Republicans who held up the vote but rather Sen. Harry Reid and the Democrats, who refused to consider proposed changes the House had made to Obamacare.
I would ask Neel to consider the two countries that have health care systems similar to Obamacare: Canada and England.
In many instances Canadians have sought treatment in the United States because long waiting times in Canada would have reduced or nullified the effectiveness of those treatments. Just consider delaying coronary bypass surgery or a St. Jude valve. Ask someone who knows. I can because I have had both of these procedures without delay.
