Chance of frost, highs in the 50s this week

If you haven't dug your jacket out of the closet already, now might be a good time.

The temperature in the metro-east is unlikely to top 60 degrees this week, according to the National Weather Service.

Mostly cloudy skies are expected Monday with a high temperature of 58. Monday night could bring patchy frost with a low temperature of 35 expected.

There is a 50 percent chance of rain Tuesday with a projected high temperature of 60. The low Tuesday is expected to sink to 33.

On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday the high temperature is expected to reach only 52.
