Make reservations now for the Hank Shaw Dinner on Nov. 13 at The Libertine in Clayton, Mo. Shaw, who won a James Beard Award this year for his blog "Hunter Angler Gardener Cook," and is author of the new cookbook, "Duck Duck Goose," will be the evening's guest. Enjoy a four-course, fowl-centric prix fixe meal with seatings from 5-10 p.m. Cost is $45. Reservations required to 314-862-2999. Looking for a way to keep all your frequently used baking ingredients in one compact location? Well, it's the right time of year to organize. A simple solution is wooden tray or box with high sides and handles or cutouts on each end to lift it. The container will take up little counter space when it's out and easily group together all those necessities for making holiday goodies, such as vanilla, nutmeg, baking soda and powder, cinnamon, ginger and more. When you are finished working, tidy up the tray and stow it away in a cabinet or drawer.
