Sheriff's Department deputies were called Sunday to the 6900 block of Kennedy Lane in Moro with a report of a disturbance that involved a weapon. When they arrived at the home a male who was not identified by police said he had argued with McGaughey and she stabbed him.

Investigators went to McGaughey's home where they allege they found her with the weapon used in the attack.
