Frost is in the forecast with low temperatures dipping into the 20s in the coming days.
The high temperature Wednesday will struggle to make it to 50 degrees under partly sunny skies. During the evening hours there is a 30 percent chance of rain and a low of 37 expected, according to the National Weather Service.
The temperature is predicted to make it only to 48 during the day Thursday under partly sunny skies. But when the sun goes down the temperature will plummet to 29. A frost warning is in effect Friday morning from 1-9 a.m.
The high Friday will be 51 under sunny skies with a low of 35. But the weather is expected to warm up a little bit in time for the World Series to shift to St. Louis this weekend.
On Saturday the high will be 62 with an overnight low of 38. On Sunday the high will be 57. There is no rain in the forecast at this point for either day.
The St. Louis Cardinals are scheduled to host the Boston Red Sox in Game 3 of the World Series at 7:07 p.m. Saturday. Game 4 is set for 7:07 p.m. Sunday at Busch Stadium. A Game 5, if necessary, is scheduled for 7:07 p.m. Monday in St. Louis before the series returns to Boston for Games 6 and 7 next Wednesday and Thursday as needed.
Game 1 is at 7:07 p.m. today at Fenway Park. Game 2 is 7:07 p.m. Thursday in Boston.
