Metro Transit leaders expect MetroLink trains to be running normally Thursday after a power outage disrupted service the day before.
Downed lines between the North Hanley and Wellston stations on the Red Line caused light rail service to be halted Wednesday and riders in that area had to be driven around the outage on buses. That resulted in delays of about 35 minutes.
The outage happened at about 6:30 a.m. and lasted through the evening rush. But Metro leaders report that power was restored overnight and trains are expected to run on time Thursday.
