Constantly repeat just a few ideas using stereotyped phrases. Continuously criticize your opponents. Pick out one special "enemy" for special vilification.

Led by Rush Limbaugh and Fox News, on a daily basis they tell us how horrible and overreaching our government is, how unfair the "lamestream" media is to the GOP, that most people on welfare are lazy deadbeats living it up off your hard-earned money, and how Obamacare and Obama himself are bringing on the end of days.
There are other themes but these are the main ones replayed daily and even hourly. They use fear and intimidation, name calling and challenge your patriotism. They accuse Obama and the Dems of the exact thing they are doing while they are actually doing it.
Five years in office and many Americans still believe Obama is a foreign-born Muslim. And now the revelation that many Americans who are against Obamacare support the ACA. Testaments to the power of propaganda.
