Lynx can't sustain early lead

— The Lindenwood-Belleville Lynx couldn't hold onto a 13-0 lead and lost 20-13 to the Olivet Nazarene Tigers on Saturday.

It was the fifth straight loss for the Lynx (3-6), who have a bye next weekend before traveling to Joplin, Mo., to play Missouri Southern on Nov. 9.

The Lynx got a 5-yard touchdown run by Jeremiah Clemon and a 1-yard touchdown run by Anthony Dorsey to go up 10-0 early in the second quarter.

Zach Gross had a 10-yard touchdown run and Andrew Muzljakovich had a 26-yard field goal as the Tigers closed the gap to 13-10 by halftime.

Another 26-yard field goal by Muzljakovich tied the score at 13-13 with 5:25 remaining in the third quarter.

Running back Michael Ho-Lewis scored the go-ahead touchdown for the Tigers on a 1-yard run with 10:26 left to play.

Lynx running back Kameron Harris, an Althoff High School graduate, had 24 carries for 115 rushing yards.

Dorsey completed 13 of 18 passes for 123 yards.

Lindenwood-Belleville's final possession came with 5:42 on the clock and the ball on its own 40, but the Lynx were unable to get a first down.

The Tigers were able to run the final 3:41 off the clock.
