The Cardinals need to make the most of this opportunity to take charge

Hopefully the Cardinals will play Game 4 of the World Series with a chip on their shoulder.

It seems, up to the end of Game 3 that this Fall Classic has been a little bit too polite. The Red Sox manager, third baseman and starting pitcher from the Saturday night game may have changed that with their whining about how they were forced to play by the same rules as everyone else.

I'd love to see the Redbirds blow out Boston and set themselves up to clinch the World Series in St. Louis.

While it's the Cardinals' job to win two of three at home so they only have to win one of two on the road to clinch their 12th World Series championship, why not kick it up a notch and sweep at home? It worked out so nicely against the Detroit Tigers in 2006.

As nice as it would be to return the favor from 2004 and celebrate on Boston's home field, I'd rather see the fireworks and excitement Monday night on the field at Busch Stadium.
