More to blame than the GOP

November 1, 2013

Letter writer Justin Gibson must be a big fan of President Obama, otherwise he would not be saying that the GOP is totally to blame for what is going on right now. It's all of Congress, actually, but mostly the Democrats.

They want to think that Obamacare is so good and that it should be kept, yet many Americans are losing their health coverage because of Obamacare causing their premiums to go sky high, or they are having their hours cut because of the health law, or losing their jobs altogether.

Why, if Obamacare is so great, are Obama and the Democrats trying their best to force it on us? Why are they not having anything to do with it?

I'm surprised that Obama is not going to be on it; after all, it is his baby. Why does he not want to be on his own health care that bears his name? If it's good enough for all of us, according to him, it's good enough for him as well.

Obama has said he will not negotiate with the Republicans. Well, if he won't do that, what is the sense in trying to get anything done?
